Project value: PLN 11,388,120.00

Purpose of the project:

The aim of the project is to increase the competitiveness of the MEBLOSIEK Furniture Factory and to improve the international potential with the use of environmentally friendly technological solutions through activities leading to the implementation of two proprietary technologies in the field of furniture design changes and two innovative product ranges in the Company.

Planned effects of the project:

Diversification and optimization of production, including reducing the consumption of raw materials and production waste, reducing CO2 emissions to the environment, increasing employment and increasing operating revenues.

The role of the Norwegian funds and the EEA funds

The Norwegian and EEA Funds represent Norway’s contribution to creating a green, competitive and inclusive Europe.

As part of the EEA and Norway Grants, Norway contributes to reducing social and economic inequalities and strengthening bilateral relations with beneficiary countries from Central and Southern Europe and the Baltic Sea area. Norway works closely with the EU under the Agreement on the European Economic Area (EEA). Together with the rest of the donors, Norway contributed € 3.3 billion under successive fund programs in 1994–2014.

Norwegian funds are financed exclusively by Norway and are available in the countries that joined the EU after 2003. Norwegian funds for 2014-2021 amount to EUR 1.25 billion.

The priorities for this period are:

# 2 social inclusion, youth employment and poverty reduction;

# 3 Environment, energy, climate change and Low Carbon Economy;

# 4 Culture, civil society, good governance and fundamental rights;
